About This Trip
Colorado has 58 peaks above 14,000 feet. The Mosquito Range near Breckenridge offers three of the most accessible — Democrat, Lincoln, and Cameron can all be done in a single day from the Kite Lake trailhead at 12,000 ft.

Day-by-Day Plan
Day 1
Democrat–Lincoln–Cameron Traverse (4am start from Kite Lake)
- Democrat only — 4 miles RT, less commitment, still a true 14er
- Full three-summit traverse — 7 miles, 3,200 ft gain, all above treeline
Day 2
Recovery + Breckenridge Main Street
- Breckenridge Riverwalk bike path — flat, easy, 4 miles
- Saloon and brewery crawl — the town's other sport
